(8/13/03, 12 p.m. ET) -- The Doors, Mick Jagger and David Bowie have made a list of the 50 worst artists in music history, as determined by Blender magazine--which caters to a wanna-be hip and cool crowd.
The Doors came in at Number 37 and the publication accused singer Jim Morrison of foisting his "terminally adolescent views on the wider world." Jagger was ranked at Number 13 for his solo recordings, not his records with the Rolling Stones, while Bowie's early 90s band Tin Machine landed at Number 12, described as "really, really bad."
The list also included some obvious targets, including pop singer Michael Bolton, jazz musician Kenny G, and rap flash-in-the-pan Vanilla Ice, all in the Top Ten.
Who was named the worst ever? The rap-rock duo Insane Clown Posse, who pride themselves on being obnoxious.
