Darryl Worley Album Debuts On Top

(4/27/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- Darryl Worley's new album, Have You Forgotten?, entered Billboard's Top Country Album chart at Number One last week and the Billboard Top 200 Album chart at Number Four. The new album shipped more than 928,000 units before its debut on the Soundscan chart.
Worley explained why he dedicated his album to U.S. soldiers. "I wanted to show my support to the troops by doing an album for them and it is so gratifying to see that the American people support them by making this album a Number One debut," Worley said.
Before the album was released, Worley said that Have You Forgotten? was going to have a war and peace theme. "This album is going to have a bit of a theme to it as opposed to just random songs,” Worley said. “It's gonna be songs of war and peace and patriotism... Songs that describe who I am."
Worley will finish co-headlining the Big Men Of Country, Size Does Matter tour with Trace Adkins early this summer and continue headlining his own show throughout the rest of the summer months.
