Nickelback To Play Summer Canadian Dates

(5/2/03, 4 p.m. ET) -- Nickelback is hard at work recording its next album, but couldn't resist scheduling some summertime dates in its native Canada. The band will start a mini-tour in St. Johns at Mile One Stadium on June 23. The band will then play Quebec's Woodstock En Beauce on June 26, Halifax's Citadel Hill on June 28, and Charlottetown's Festival Of Lights in on June 30.
The Citadel Hill show is in honor of Canada Day weekend, and it also features Finger Eleven and Default, as well as several other regional bands.
