(9/4/02, 6 p.m. ET) -- Travis will make available a download of its latest song, "Love Will Come Through," for a small fee with all proceeds to benefit the Spinal Injuries Association. The selection is a reaction to spinal injuries sustained by the band's drummer Neil Primrose earlier this year, when he mistakenly dove into the shallow end of a swimming pool.
"Love Will Come Through" can be accessed as of Friday (September 6) at the group's official website (travisonline.com). The song will also be available in the U.S. on September 17 as part of the soundtrack to Moonlight Mile, due from Epic Records.
The Spinal Injuries Association offers lifetime support to individuals who have been paralyzed and to their families. It also promotes full integration into society for the injured. More information can be found at spinal.co.uk.
Primrose suffered multiple fractures to his upper vertebrae as a result of the accident, which took place July 7 in a French hotel. Surgery followed four days later. He is expected to make a full recovery.
