(4/25/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Fastball's follow-up to All The Pain Money Can Buy will be The Harsh Light Of Day, which should see the light of day in September. Only two titles have been revealed for the album so far -- a Tony Scalzo song titled "Funny How It Fades Away," and a Miles Zuniga track, "This Is Not My Life." The album was produced by Julian Raymond, who produced All The Pain Money Can Buy.

According to rumors, 13 will be included on the album --- Scalzo wrote six, while Zuniga wrote seven. Musicians guesting on the completed tracks so far include Kim Bullord and rock legend Billy Preston on keyboards, and the Wallflowers's Michael Ward on guitar. In addition, Mariachi Sol De Mexico, starring Jose Hernandez and his mariachi band, play on a song titled "Love Is Expensive And Free," and a strong candidate to be the first single is "You're An Ocean."

A tour will also be scheduled in conjunction with the release, but there has been no confirmation of dates. Rumor has it that Michael Ward, who played slide guitar on a few songs on the album including "Don't Give Up On Me," may tour with the band if the Wallflowers don't have any recording or performing scheduled.
