Cake Baking Greatest Hits Collection

(7/21/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Cake will release a greatest-hits album titled Selected Features on Capricorn Records October 10. The track listing has yet to be finalized, but it will most likely contain the band's modern rock hits like "The Distance" and "Never There."

This is a swan song of sorts for the group on its longtime label, as Cake has made the jump to Columbia Records for the follow-up to its 1998 effort, Prolonging The Magic. The band is currently working on the new album in its hometown of Sacramento, Calif.
