Nashville Pussy Not Off Tattoo The Earth Just Yet

(7/20/00, 3 p.m. ET) - Nashville Pussy is off the Tattoo The Earth tour, but it's just temporary. The band's publicist says they were removed because the band-filled bill would have allowed them to play for just 15 minutes. Nashville Pussy did not appear on dates in Lawrence, Kan. and today's Giants Stadium date due to the crunch caused by adding Metallica to the bill. The band will also miss tomorrow's show in Scranton, Penn., but a source says they will be back for Saturday's date in Boston.

Sexy bassist Corey Parks will not join her band for any Tattoo dates. The band's spokesperson explained, "This band has worked non-stop, touring and recording over the past four years. It was a grueling schedule for everyone. We regret that Corey won't be with us for the Tattoo the Earth tour but we fully understand and are supportive of her decision." Playing bass for Nashville Pussy on this tour will be Tracy Almazon (a.k.a. Tracy Wives) formerly of the Wives and currently with Helldorado.
