(10/6/00, 10 a.m. ET) - Because Sixpence None The Richer was once labeled a Christian rock band, some might assume they would be in the corner of the Republicans and the religious right. Singer Leigh Nash told LAUNCH she's definitely supporting George W. Bush, but she added that Al Gore's choosing Joe Lieberman, an Orthodox Jew, as his running mate, has made a difference in her thoughts about the presidential race.

Nash shared her thoughts on Lieberman with LAUNCH. "Very solid," she said. "He seems like a pretty godly man, follows his faith, and I think that's pretty attractive. When Clinton got out of line, he said something very publicly, which I think is very admirable. I like that he stands up when he sees something wrong, and that doesn't happen enough in politics. People just kind of sweep things under the carpet."-- Darren Davis, New York
