(1/4/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- Rob Zombie just finished work co-producing We're A Happy Family, the Ramones tribute album that's slated for a February 11 release, and now he's in movie mode. Zombie's first movie, House Of 1000 Corpses, is slated for a March release through Lion's Gate Films.
Although House Of 1000 Corpses was dropped by Universal and delayed countless times, Zombie told LAUNCH he's excited to move on to his next movie project. The horror-rocker was asked about his future film projects.
"Well, there's a couple of different movies, and I don't know which one could be possibly the next one," Zombie told LAUNCH. "You know, I'm working on a script right now that's not finished, and I'm up to direct possibly a script that someone else wrote. Neither is confirmed yet at this moment, so I can't say what's next. But I'm definitely looking towards the next thing."
"The process has been long and horrible in some respects," noted Zombie. "But it has been awesome in other ways. So, it's just like anything."
Meanwhile, Zombie will have up to four new tunes on the soundtrack to House Of 1000 Corpses, which is set to arrive in stores a few weeks before the movie's release.
