John Mayer/Counting Crows Announce Summer Tour Dates

(4/6/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- John Mayer and the Counting Crows have announced the dates of their upcoming, co-headlining summer tour. The outing begins July 7 in Englewood, Colorado, and concludes September 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two acts will play more than 35 shows during the trek.
Before the two artists hook up for their collaborative road stint, each will play several dates on their own. The Counting Crows are currently in the middle of a college campus tour, and Mayer is scheduled to perform a number of festival appearances during the next few months.
