(1/25/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- Wednesday (January 23) was a historic day for West Coast rappers, as many influential hip-hoppers joined to appear in the Roger Troutman tribute video "Still More Bounce," the first single and title track from the album scheduled to be released April 16 on Wolfpac Records.
George Clinton, Tha Liks, Xzibit, Ras Kass, Saafir, Bizarre from D12, Battlecat, Kurupt, Napoleon from the Outlawz, Kam, Dirty Rat, Jayo Felony, Big Chan from Doggy's Angels, Cypress Hill's Sen Dog, DJ Quik, Merciless Stylz, and Suga Free all showed their support for the late funk icon, spending a portion of the all-day shoot at a mansion in Encino, California.
Clinton, who was influential in helping Troutman achieve notoriety, told LAUNCH he was glad to be a part of the project. ;"Well, it's cool. Roger was one of the residents of the mothership. And just glad to be a part of, any part of the mothership."
The video is directed by Devin DeHaven of Fortress Entertainment and scheduled to be released in March.
