Sugar Ray Takes It 'Easy' With New Album & Single

(4/9/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- Sugar Ray's new album, In The Pursuit Of Leisure, will come out June 3 in North America. The first single from the set, "Mr. Bartender (It's So Easy)," will ship to radio next week. Steven Murashige (Rage Against The Machine) is directing the song's video, which is currently in production.
The album was produced by the band's longtime collaborator David Kahne, the man who produced the band's hits "Fly," "Every Morning," and "When It's Over."
Other tracks on In The Pursuit Of Leisure include "Chasin' You Around," "Heaven," and a cover of Joe Jackson's 1979 hit, "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"
Sugar Ray will kick off a tour with labelmates Matchbox Twenty at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans on April 25. The tour will wrap on June 6. Sugar Ray is currently rehearsing for the forthcoming tour.
