Moby Launches Talent Search For Video Director

Mobyis looking for an up-and-coming video director to work with on future endeavors. Following in the footsteps of Boxcar Racerand Jewel, he's taking his talent search to the public, and is asking fans and aspiring directors to make a video clip of any song from his latest album, 18.

The judging will emphasize imagination and conception, not professional experience and previous achievements of the videographers. Moby himself will judge the top 10 most interesting treatments, and the winner will be given a $7,531 budget to create a full-length video which may be released.

Entrants are encouraged to email their treatments and a brief biography, totaling no more than 2 MB, to info@d-e-f.com. Deadline for entries is November 30.
