Mighty Mighty Bosstones To Get Warped Inside

(3/5/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will headline the first Warped Inside 2001 tour, a club-sized offshoot of the venerable punk summer roadshow, the Vans Warped Tour. The tour kicks off in Milwaukee on March 15 and extends through dates in New York City in early June.
The trek incorporates the Boston band's annual "Hometown Throwdown" event, for which the group plays a multi-night stand for local fans. The traveling version has been dubbed the "Your Town Thrown," and will feature extended stays in several cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.
Each night will also showcase different special guests, including fellow Warped alumi Flogging Molly, Fenix TX, and No Use For A Name.
The Bosstones look to start work on a new album later this year. The group's latest release, Pay Attention, arrived from Island Records in 2000.
