Buckcherry To Hit Harder With 'Timebomb'

(1/12/01, 1 p.m. ET) - While Buckcherry's self-titled debut album, featuring the drug-happy "Lit Up," introduced thousands of fans to the band's hard-rocking style, the upcoming second album, Timebomb, really shows where the Los Angeles band is at. At least that's how vocalist Joshua Todd feels about it. He tells LAUNCH that Timebomb far exceeds what the group's 1999 DreamWorks debut first established.
"Well, it's harder than the first record, and it's more melodic, and we're just a better band, you know?" Todd explains. "We spent 15 months, and what that does to you, if you're paying attention, is [it] makes you tighter. And we've just grown so much musically since the last record. It's really, I think, light years ahead of it."
Timebomb arrives in stores March 27. In the interim, the band hits the road with Kid Rock and Fuel beginning Wednesday (January 17) in Greenville, South Carolina.
