Dido Appears On New Faithless Album, Out Today

(7/10/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- Fans looking for a bit more from Dido will have their wish granted with today's release of Outrospective, the third album from the U.K. electronica-based group Faithless. Dido joins the group, which is the brainchild of her brother, Rollo Armstrong, for lead vocals and a co-write on the song, "One Step Too Far." This is not the first time Dido has teamed up with her brother in Faithless. She appeared on both of the group's first two albums before launching her solo career with the now-smash-hit effort, No Angel. Dido tells LAUNCH that Rollo has always had his own musical vision to sort out with Faithless: "I mean, he's not a musician, but he totally knows what he wants to hear. He's great with words--he's an amazing lyric writer as well. You know, he's better at writing the slightly bitchier songs."
