(11/11/00, 7 a.m. ET) - Amid the political unrest engulfing the state of Florida in the wake of the recent presidential election, Dade County's own Trick Daddy has released a new single and video titled "Amerika." Brian Frank and Gil Green directed the clip, in which Trick spouts incisive social commentaries while clad in a white tuxedo in front of a huge American flag. Some 50 children of different nationalities are all also dressed in white and stationed in front of the rapper in a choir configuration, singing the song's hook, which goes: "This game wasn't told to me/It was sold to me/You getting nothing free/No way out in America, our countrytivity/Land of liberty that a never be/No way, not in America."
Trick Daddy's current album, Book Of Thugs: Chapter AK Versus 47, has sold more than 500,000 copies and has already been certified gold.
