Josey Scott Of Saliva Open To Performing 'Hero'

(6/12/02, 6 p.m. ET) - Josey Scott of Saliva sings with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger on the smash hit "Hero" from the Spider-Man soundtrack, and he tells LAUNCH Saliva might add the song to its set.
Nickelback is already inserting "Hero" into its set on occasion, when they feel the need to pull out the acoustic guitars. LAUNCH asked Scott if he'd be willing to do the same. "Yeah, definitely. Yeah, we'd definitely play it. I could definitely see us doing it. I love the song. I'd love to do it live. I'd be really down with that."
"Hero" is currently Number One on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, and it's rising on the Hot 100 chart, sitting at Number 13.
Saliva is currently working on its forthcoming album Back Into Your System, which is slated for a late summer/early fall release.
