(9/18/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- Disturbed has canceled its New York City in-store set for Tower Records in Greenwich Village on Saturday (September 21). The in-store was to promote its new album Believe, which was released on Tuesday (September 17). No reason for the cancellation was available at press time.
The band is playing a few warm-up shows before it goes out with Korn. Disturbed guitarist Dan Donnegan told LAUNCH that the band's live show continues to evolve.
"We will always continue to grow visually and musically. It's something that we've always been a big part of, is just constantly moving forward. Build some drama to the show...Some of the new material on this record has a lot of drama points, a lot of stuff we can do visually that can help set the mood and the vibe of certain parts of the songs."
Disturbed plays its hometown of Chicago on Thursday (September 19) and ends its Midwest club date run October 4 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Korn tour begins October 6 in Manchester, New Hampshire.
