Rah Digga Says 'Blade II' Collaboration Originally For Another Movie

(2/16/02,7 a.m. ET) -- The forthcoming Blade II soundtrack will feature many unusual pairings of today's biggest stars. One of the songs included on the set, which is due out March 19, is "Gangsta Queens" by Rah Digga, Trina, and Groove Armada. Rah Digga recently told LAUNCH that the collaboration was originally created for another soundtrack.
"Actually, I just did a song with Trina that was originally supposed to be for a new Jet Li movie coming out, but now I believe it's going to Blade II," she said.
The Blade II soundtrack tracklisting includes: "Blade" by Marco Beltrami and Danny Saber; "Cowboy" by Eve and Fatboy Slim; "I Against I" by Mos Def and Massive Attack; "Right Here, Right Now" by Ice Cube and Paul Oakenfold; "Tao Of The Machine" by the Roots and BT; "Child Of The Wild West" by Cypress Hill and Roni Size; "The One" by Busta Rhymes, Silkk The Shocker, and Dub Pistols; "We Be Like This" by Fabolous, Jadakiss, and Danny Saber; "Gorillaz On My Mind" by Redman and Gorillaz; "Gangsta Queens" by Trina, Rah Digga, and Groove Armada; "PHDream" by Bubba Sparxxx and the Crystal Method; "Raised In The Hood" by Volume 10 and Roni Size; and "Gettin' Aggressive" By Mystikal and Moby.
