(4/26/01, 10 a.m. ET) -- Last week Case's "Missing You" bumped Janet Jackson's "All For You" from her two-week reign in the Number One slot on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Sales & Tracks chart. Case, who released his third album, Open Letter, Tuesday (April 24), told LAUNCH that he is pleased with the news.
"I feel real good about it. Mostly because I was sick as a dog when I did it. I really didn't know if I was going to be able to get it out. That was one of the songs on the album that I really had to put a lot of work into. I'm glad and happy that people liked it too. It makes me feel good. It's actually my first Number One."
Though "Missing You" marks his first Number One song, Case has released a slew of hits, including his debut "Touch Me, Tease Me" from The Nutty Professorsoundtrack; "More To Love" from his self-titled debut; and "Faded Pictures" from his sophomore album Personal Conversation.
