Scarface, Trick Daddy, Clipse & Angie Martinez To Rock For Freedom

(9/16/02, 10 a.m. ET) -- Scarface, Trick Daddy, Clipse, Angie Martinez, Styles, and Devin are some of the performers scheduled to take part in the Freedom Rocks concert at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey on September 29. Nelly and the St. Lunatics are also slated to make an appearance and present a special award. Tickets for the show are priced at $52, $47, and $42 each. The gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. ET and the show is slated to start at 7 p.m. ET.
Angie Martinez, who holds down a day job as a radio personality on New York's Hot 97 FM, recently released her sophomore album, Animal House, which is Number 37 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Martinez recently told LAUNCH that it's difficult to chose between her two careers. "It's hard. It makes it hard, but I love both still, you know what I mean, so I'm not really ready? People always ask me, 'Well, what do you like better?' That's like me asking you if you have two kids what your favorite kid is, you know what I'm sayin'? It's not a question I can really answer like that. I'm not ready to walk away from either one," she said.
