(7/26/02, 4 p.m. ET) -- Wyclef Jean's "Two Wrongs," a duet with City High member Claudette Ortiz, is Number 16 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, jumping five positions from last week.
Jean originally titled the ballad "One Last Chance," but was moved to change the title while talking to a friend. He told LAUNCH. "A friend of mine who sorta got arrested 'cause he hit his girl, and he went and got her a ring, and went by her house, brought her the ring, and she took the ring, and he asked her to marry (him). And he called me on my cell, and I was, like, 'Yo, you stupid man! She put you in prison. I went and bailed you out. You gone go marry her?' And he was, like, 'Two wrongs don't make a right, man.' And I said, 'Man. That's the title of my song,' you know what I'm saying, so I take no credit for that, man."
The song is featured on Jean's third solo album, Masquerade, which came out in June.
