Vince Gill And Amy Grant Might Consider Tour In The Future

(4/17/00, 10 a.m. ET) - Vince Gill's forthcoming album, Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye, features a duet with his new wife, Amy Grant -- the song "When I Look Into Your Heart" was written by the couple. LAUNCH spoke with Gill about the possibility of a co-headlining tour with Grant:"Maybe, you know? It's one day at a time at this point," he said."I am loving life so much more than I could have ever imagined that I don't have in the back of my mind, 'When do I have to pack my shaving kit and go catch the bus?' I've been riding the bus for 25 years and I don't miss it, so I'm not in a big hurry to go pack a shaving kit and say, 'Hey, let's go do a tour.' At some point, maybe, yes. I think it would be great." While Gill and Grant have spent the better part of their lives thus far concentrating on their respective careers, they have now decided to put their personal lives first. Gill explained: "I think what we're finding out is that we want to reverse the process. We want to have our lives together and then maybe have a career with what's left over, rather than chase the brass ring and have a career and travel and do all that stuff, and then try to make a personal life with what's left over from that." -- Margy Holland, Nashville
