Kurt Cobain Journals Out In Paperback With Extra Material

The new paperback edition of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's personal journals features some never-before-seen material, including lyrics to early Nirvana songs and even the words to a track that was never recorded. The book, simply titled Journals, reproduces the writings, letters, sketches, album production notes, and lyrics that Cobain kept in a series of notebooks throughout his career, up until his death in 1994.
The hardcover version of Journals spent 11 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list after it was published last year.
The book contains Cobain's frank and detailed writings about his use of, and addiction to, marijuana and heroin. It also includes his thoughts on the music business, his political beliefs, his musical influences, his questions about his own sexuality, and his love for wife Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean Cobain.
