Wallflowers Mapping November Tour
10/03/2002 3:00 PM, Yahoo! Music Jerry Armor
(10/3/02, 3 p.m. ET) -- The Wallflowers will be hitting the road for their first round of tour dates in support of their upcoming release, Red Letter Days, in late November, bassist Greg Richling tells LAUNCH. The group's fourth album arrives November 5 from Interscope Records.
Richling maps out the tentative plan. "We've got some sporadic shows coming up in October and I think we've got a tour starting November 20th, going through 'til December 7th. And I think it starts in Denver and ends in D.C. So it's more of an East Coast kind of...you know...Denver up through Minnesota, Wisconsin, trail up over Cleveland to, you know, Boston, Philly, down to D.C."
Richling adds, "It's gonna a little two-and-a-half week jaunt at first, before the big six-week [tour] kicks in."
Interscope labelmates Ours will serve as the tour's support act, according to the Wallflowers' official website (wallflowers.com).
A firm itinerary is expected in the next week.
