Lifehouse Serves Up Pork Chop on 'Stanley Climbfall'

(10/2/02, 3 p.m. ET) -- In the CD package for Lifehouse's second album, Stanley Climbfall, there's a photo of a guy who's definitely not in the Los Angeles-based band. He's a rotund fellow in a plaid shirt, wearing glasses and smiling. Lifehouse singer and guitarist Jason Wade told LAUNCH about the man they met at a train station and why he's part of the album art.

"That's a guy named Pork Chop that we met on our photo shoot and he kind of looked like a 'Stanley Climbfall' so we took a picture of him. It was in the middle of Louisiana, he was actually working at that train station and it was on his name tag," Wade said. "He's like, 'Oh, just call me Pork Chop, that's my name, I just go by it, my friends call me that and you guys can come over later for cupcakes if you want to.' He talked like that and he was just like the coolest guy. He was actually more photogenic than we were. We get a little nervous sometimes when we take pictures and stuff, but he just stood there like a champ and we had a nice little photo session with him. He's a real cool guy."

Lifehouse appears on Saturday (October 5) in Brisbane, Australia at ANZ Stadium for the M-One Festival, which also includes Default, Garbage, the Goo Goo Dolls, Midnight Oil, and Nickelback.
