Coolio Taps Krayzie Bone, Daz Dillinger, Kenny Rogers For New Album

(6/21/02, 10 a.m. ET) -- Coolio previewed his new album, El Cool Magnifico, Wednesday (June 19) at a private listening session and party at his Los Angeles home. The album is scheduled to be released on October 15 on Dragon Riders/D3. The first single is the party-oriented "Shake It Up," which is expected to be serviced to radio in late August.
Krayzie Bone, Daz Dillinger, B-Real, Kenny Rogers, Ms. Toi, opera singer Denyce Graves, and LV appear on the domestic and/or international versions of the album.
The party drew a number of noted celebrity guests including Ed O'Ross (6 Feet Under), Khalil Kain (The Tiger Woods Story, Girlfriends), Tyler Mane (X-Men), Digital Underground's Money B and DJ Fuze, and Luniz's Knumskull, among others.
