Aaron Carter Walks Away Uninjured After Freak Car Accident

Singer Aaron Carter survived a freak highway accident in Pompano Beach early Thursday morning (January 6). Access Hollywood reports that a mattress flew off a truck, slid under his car, and then caught fire. Carter was able to pull over and get out of his Cadillac Escalade just seconds before the car exploded into flames. The 17-year-old walked away with minor cuts and bruises.
Carter said, "I am so lucky to be alive right now. I can't believe I survived another near-death experience. I feel like I am a cat and I only have five lives left. I am still in shock over everything that just happened."
Carter recently announced that he's planning to release his fifth studio album in February. He also will be on a small-venue tour of the U.S. during February and March.
