Ozzy Osbourne Illness Costs Black Sabbath A Second 'Ozzfest' Appearance

Ozzy Osbourne is still sick, and it's cost Black Sabbath a second OzzFest appearance in a week. Sabbath had to sit out their headlining gig in Holmdel, New Jersey, last Wednesday (July 27), and they did so again Sunday (July 31) in Noblesville, Indiana. In both cases, Iron Maiden stepped up and did a headlining set.
OzzFest spokespeople haven't said what's bothering Osbourne, although it's thought to be something of an upper respiratory nature. It's unknown whether Osbourne will be well enough to perform Tuesday (August 2) when OzzFest pulls into the Germain Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio.
