A man has been arrested following the death of a member of the audience at a Korn show last month.
Andrew Johnson, 30, was killed at the group's Atlanta leg of their Family Values tour on July 30, following an altercation in the moshpit. Michael Scott Axley, 24, is now understood to have been charged with murder, after he was arrested following information received from members of the public.
Atlanta police spokesperson Marion Lee confirmed they had been tipped off about the alleged assailant. He said: "They turned the information in to police and did the right thing."
Initially police were understood to be hunting two men following the attack, which apparently saw Richardson crash headfirst onto the concrete floor of the city's amphitheater after being struck in the face.
In a statement after the incident, Korn commented: "All the bands on the Family Values Tour offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of 30-year-old Andy Richardson."
