Billy Ray Cyrus gets his mullet back at Metal Skool

Formerly hockey-haired country star Billy Ray Cyrus recently released an ode to his infamous bi-level hairdo called "I Want My Mullet Back." And last night he got his wish, when he jumped onstage with hair-metal tribute band Metal Skool at Los Angeles's Key Club.
Metal Skool, a comedy cover band that plays every Monday at the Key Club, has been joined by many famous guests lately, including Kelly Clarkson and Celebrity Duets contestant Hal Sparks. And last night it was Cyrus's turn, grunting a highly amusing heavy-metal version of "I Want My Mullet Back" alongside Metal Skool's spandex-clad pretty boys.
Metal Skool and Cyrus were then joined by a seemingly reluctant Ryan Cabrera, at which point frontman Michael Starr exclaimed, "Hey Billy, we got your mullet back!" and handed the achy-breaky crooner a mullet wig. Ever the good sport, Cyrus wore the faux mullet for a Cabrera-assisted group singalong of Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me," although he did remove it before warbling a surprisingly strong rendition of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell."
Other celebrities who appeared with Metal Skool last night were reality-TV trainwreck Danny Bonaduce (who strapped on a bass guitar, Danny Partridge-style, but ultimately did not perform), and Slipknot's Joey Jordison, who filled in on drums for Metal Skool's Stix Zadinia. Neither Jordison nor Bonaduce, however, wore mullets.
