An accident involving one of the trucks
carrying concert equipment for George Michael forced the
British pop singer to cancel a show in Prague on Saturday, the
Web site of a Czech newspaper reported.
The daily's Web site (www.idnes.cz) quoted concert promoter
Petr Novak as saying the truck, which crashed while traveling
through Romania, was carrying special sections of the stage.
"Unfortunately a large part of the special podium remained
trapped in the truck and it was not possible to replace it,"
Novak was quoted as saying.
He added that he had no further details of the accident or
when the concert would be rescheduled.
Michael has been in Prague since Thursday evening and was
not involved in the accident.
