Blur will begin recording their new album in November, according to reports.
The definitive lineup, including founding guitarist Graham Coxon, have been at the center of media speculation about new recordings in recent months.
It has now been claimed that Coxon, who quit the group during sessions for Think Tank in 2003, will go into the studio with Damon Albarn, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree.
A "source" told a U.K. tabloid: "They've all had lots on, with solo projects, cartoon bands, political campaigns, and farming. But by the end of summer, their plates will be clear. They'll go into the studio together in November."
Meanwhile, Damon Albarn's circus opera, Monkey: Journey To The West, opens the Manchester International Festival at the end of this month.
