A previously unplayed track by Clash frontman Joe Strummer is to be aired on BBC Radio Ulster tonight (June 22).
The track, "Divorcing Jack," was written for the 1998 film of the same name, but was never used.
Author Colin Bateman, who wrote the book on which the film was based, had kept the recording secret until now, but the song will be played on the station's Late Show in a special program dedicated to the late Clash singer.
The program will also feature a vintage interview between Strummer and presenter Stuart Bailie.
In a statement, Bailie paid tribute to Strummer, claiming he was one of the world's most influential artists.
He added: "He made music that challenged you to be alive. He helped me to discover great reggae, folk, and rhythm & blues. He gave me a moral compass and his music was the soundtrack to many amazing occasions. Any excuse and I'm there, talking up Joe's ever-growing reputation."
Strummer, who had an undiagnosed congenital heart defect, died on December 22, 2002, at age 50.
