Vavoom!

Some people probably really like this kind of stuff. To whom I'd like to politely ask: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? No one willingly submits to listening to "Mack The Knife." Setzer obviously has some sort of brain disorder if he thinks covering such an atrocity is an acceptable idea. What's next--the Frankie Valli catalog? Jeez.
But then, Setzer is so immersed in clichTs that it's hard to tell where the "original" ideas start and the hackneyed cornball schmaltz ends. He even writes his own song, "That's The Kind Of Sugar Papa Likes," when there's already a perfectly rotten song with that title (Peter Criss, drummer for Kiss, covered it on his first solo album. What company to be in!). Same goes for "If You Can't Rock Me," the name of a perfectly uninspired Stones track! Setzer likes old cars? Yeah, well check the tires, bub! They're RETREADS!
