The Clean reunited in 1988 for a couple of concerts and followed with Vehicle in 1990, their first proper LP. Their pre-breakup material stands as their greatest achievement, but this slightly more polished effort still shines with their trademark fractured pop songs that combine a punky attitude and a classic pop sensibility. ~ Chris Woodstra, All Music Guide
