Elton John's relationship with Geffen Records seems to have been deteriorating by this point, although he kept up his regular output of one album a year...This one contains the #7 ballad "Nikita" and a pleasant uptempo song, "Wrap Her Up"... The CD added the single "Act of War," a raucous workout with Millie Jackson that immediately became the album's standout track. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
