Lowell George's gradual disappearance from his own group continued here, with the album containing only one of his solo compositions, "Rocket in My Pocket," awhich wasn't one of his best. The title track and "Hi Holler," among other tracks, show Paul Barrere and Bill Payne to be talented substitutes... ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
