Ready For The World scored three more chart hits with their second album, including another number one R&B hit and Top 10 pop song in "Love Me Down." They continued to milk the funk/pop/Prince connection, and Melvin Riley's vocals hadn't grated on enough people's nerves to derail their success yet. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
