Along The Road Review

This album is a collaborative effort of three of the top female vocalists in Christian music: Susan Ashton, Margaret Becker, and Christine Dente (of Out of the Grey). The three voices complement each other nicely with smooth harmonies. The songs have a slight country feel to them, with the easy-going vocals and prominent acoustic guitar work. The album has a great first half, starting off strong with "Angels," featuring Dente's vocals; "No Other," with lead vocals by Becker; and "Walk On," with take-no-prisoners vocals by Ashton. The second half of the album is a bit less engaging, but it is still pleasant. Along the Road is an unusual bringing together of great talent and one that leaves you wishing these women recorded together more often. ~ Melinda Hill, All Music Guide
