No, it's not as razorblade crunchy as industrial can get, and is sometimes downright pleasant (as happens with "Rules" itself), but there are beats, noises, crunchy guitars and even a sense of humor ("Inane" pokes glorious fun at KMFDM themselves). ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
