As the title suggests, Chansons de Films 1936-61 collects 14 songs from Edith Piaf's films, as well as songs of hers which appeared in other movies. Songs from films like Montmartre Sur Seine, Etoile Sans Lumiere, Stage Fright, French Can-Can, and Les Amants de Demain make this collection well worth the while of Piaf fans. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
