*NSYNC's Joey Fatone Directs Luis Fonsi's 'Secret' Video

(3/29/02, 4 p.m. ET) -- Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi recently shot the music video for his single "Secret" in Miami in preparation for the release of his debut English-language album, Fight The Feeling. Making his directorial debut on the video is none other than *NSYNC's Joey Fatone, who also has a cameo in the video. Fatone has been friends with Fonsi since high school, and they were both members of an a cappella pop group called Big Guys.
Fight The Feeling will include some English versions of songs from Fonsi's third Spanish-language album, Amor Secreto, as well as some newly written tracks. Fonsi co-produced and co-wrote several tracks on these new albums, and also wrote several Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translations of the lyrics.
For the new album, Fonsi also collaborated with several top European and American songwriter-producers, including Eclectic Productions (Christina Aguilera), Underground Productions (LFO), Oliver Leiber, Steve Morales (Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias), and Rudy Perez (Aguilera). Fight The Feeling is due for release on MCA Records/Universal Latino on July 2. Fonsi will celebrate the impending release of Fight The Feeling at a party in his honor in New York City tomorrow night (April 2).
