THE GREAT AMERICAN SAUSAGE WORKS: Bruce Springsteen trying a new approach to promote his new album, choosing to allow CBS to stream 'High Hopes' exclusively a week before its January 14th release. Three songs from his 18th album will also be featured in the January 12th episode of 'The Good Wife'. Pearl Jam gave FOX licenses to its work to use during the network's World Series coverage. Springsteen's move is the latest example of music's evolving promotional and marketing methods.
