Amy Winehouse Unsurprisingly Cancels Rest of European Tour

After "performing" a show the Serbian press dubbed "the worst in the history of Belgrade" this past weekend, Amy Winehouse has unsurprisingly cancelled the remaining 11 dates on her European comeback tour. According to the BBC, her rep issued a statement acknowledging Winehouse is not at "her best," which is generous:

"Amy Winehouse is withdrawing from all scheduled performances. Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."

In late May, Winehouse went to rehab for a week, possibly after a boozy pit stop in a hair salon, for "an assessment" before her tour. The 27-year-old singer had actually performed quite well during a brief tour of Brazil in January (see footage here), but on Saturday she greeted the wrong city, forgot lyrics, clutched her stomach, hugged her band, and repeatedly sat down, which would indicate she is not ready for prime time... or any time, really.

Moby was an unlikely witness to Saturday's debacle, tweeting, "Playing a festival in serbia with amy winehouse and she's on stage mumbling...ah boy, can't someone do an intervention? Its heartbreaking" and "I don't know amy winehouse, but I sincerely hope that someone close to her can intervene and get her some help. Its truly heartbreaking." Too heartbreaking to use apostrophes, apparently!
