OutKast rapper and Modest Mouse collaborator Antwan "Big Boi" Patton was arrested yesterday in Miami for essentially possessing the same drugs as a high school senior on a wild Saturday night. Big Boi was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after ecstasy pills, MDMA powder and unprescribed Viagra (!) was found in one of his bags. According to TMZ, customs and border patrol dogs uncovered the drugs when Big Boi and his crew were exiting a cruise ship in Miami. "A small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage." Big Boi's attorney Daniel Kane said in a statement, "I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated."

While ecstasy and MDMA seem like the drug of choice for an Electric Daisy raver rather than a Dirty South rapper, T.I. was also busted for possessing the drug back in September, so maybe it's an Atlanta MC thing. Big Boi was rapping about Viagra as far back as his appearance on Killer Mike's 2004 single "A.D.I.D.A.S.," so no surprises there. Patton was held on $16,000 bond but quickly released later in the day in good enough spirits to tweet, "They said it was the Love Boat."
