Remember the Black Sabbath reunion that was dismissed as "absolute nonsense" by guitarist Tony Iommi, the same man who initially revealed that the band was getting back together with Ozzy Osbourne? It turns out that the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are in fact reuniting, and they're announcing the reformation next week. Black Sabbath's new website hints that some major news is coming on November 11th, or 11.11.11, On that date, Blabbermouth reports, all four members of the group — Osbourne, Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward -- will hold a press conference at Hollywood's Whisky A Go Go -- the site of their first Los Angeles concert on, surprise, November 11, 1970.
The 11.11.11 press conference begins at, you guessed it, 11:11 a.m. (Clocks are pushed back this weekend, the organizers better not forget about that.) Henry Rollins is hosting the event, where Black Sabbath will finally confirm to fans that they'll tour and record a new album together in 2012, the band's first album with Ozzy since 1978's Never Say Die!
