Dave Matthews Band continue mapping out their series of three-day Caravans this summer by announcing the details for the Chicago leg of the DMB-curated fest, which will arrive on the Windy City's Lakeside on July 8-10th. Like the previously announced Atlantic City dates, the fest represents Dave Matthews Band's lone concert dates in that particular region, and each night of the Caravan will boast a DMB performance. Three-day passes are available now at the band's official website. The DMB fest comes exactly a week before the Pitchfork Music Festival invades Chicago, sparing the city from the strangest cross-pollination of music fans ever.

The Chicago version of the Caravan will boast essentially the same lineup as its Atlantic City counterpart with a few exceptions: Thievery Corporation, Damian Marley, and Dr. Dog are out, but Kid Cudi, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Emmylou Harris, and Ben Folds are in. If someone offered us that trade in our fantasy festival lineup league, we'd probably accept it.

DMB promise to announce the remaining two Caravans -- we have our money on their beloved Red Rocks venue in Colorado and another on the West Coast, possibly Washington's The Gorge -- in the near future.

The Chicago Caravan lineup:

David Gray, Ray LaMontagne, O.A.R., Kid Cudi, The Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Amos Lee, Emmylou Harris, Ben Folds, G. Love & Special Sauce, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Gomez, Drive-By Truckers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Daniel Lanois' Black Dub, The Jayhawks, Soja, Soulive, The Wailers, Blind Pilot, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, TR3, Vieux Farka Toure, Alberta Cross, Mariachi El Bronx, Bobby Long, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Jeff Coffin's Mu'tet, Gary Clark Jr. and special performances by Dave Matthews Band members Carter Beauford and Stefan Lessard plus a Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds acoustic set.
