Insane Clown Posse Don’t Love Improv Comedy the Way Diddy Does

Numerous comedy stars got their start at the New York outpost of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, an anything-goes improv spot that always draws Saturday Night Live castmembers and rock stars to its assortment of oddball shows. In January, Diddy actually appeared in "The Chris Gethard Show" at UCB after a long campaign by comic Chris Gethard -- the rapper/actor/mogul even brought its host a box of gifts that included Tic Tacs, three strippers, and a wad of cash. Diddy hilariously, fantastically got the joke. The Insane Clown Posse, however, do not have as much love for UCB. In fact, they have no love for UCB. None!

This week the AV Club spotted a UCB performer's blog post that explains why his group's show "The Gathering of the Juggalos for a Mother F------ Baby Funeral" will not be going on as planned Saturday night:

"The pre-scheduled 'The Gathering of the Juggalos for a Mother F------ Baby Funeral' was cancelled after a threat of legal action from the Insane Clown Posse and a justified fear that actual Juggalos were going to show up and be physically unhappy (yes, physically)." [Insert "Cease and desist orders, how do they work?" joke here.]

Considering what happened to Tila Tequila at last year's Gathering of the Juggalos, the UCB kids had a valid reason for concern. And they probably got some legal papers from Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Either way, bummer! But the improv troupe will be performing an alternate show Saturday at midnight should you be interested in seeing what a group of people who wrote a show called "The Gathering of the Juggalos for a Mother F------ Baby Funeral" do.
